Privacy Policy

Koompuni — Garage Management System. Last updated October 2, 2026.

Beekos Solutions OPC(“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates Koompuni. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal data in connection with the Platform, in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and the issuances of the National Privacy Commission (“NPC”).

1. Our Role

For personal data about our Subscribers and their staff (account and billing information), Beekos Solutions OPC is the personal information controller. For personal data that a Subscriber enters about its own End Customers, the Subscriber is the controller and Beekos Solutions OPC processes that data on the Subscriber’s behalf and under its instructions, solely to provide the Platform.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account information — business name, contact person, email, phone, and staff user details used to create and manage your account.
  • Billing information — details needed to charge the Software Service Fee. Card payments are processed by our third-party payment processor; we do not store full payment card numbers on our systems.
  • Data you enter — business records you input to operate, which may include information about your End Customers (e.g. names, contact details, and transaction history).
  • Usage and device data — log data, IP address, browser/device information, and activity within the Platform, used for security, troubleshooting, and improvement.
  • Cookies — we use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to operate the Platform (see Section 8).

3. How We Use Personal Data

  • To provide, maintain, and secure the Platform.
  • To process subscriptions and bill the Software Service Fee.
  • To provide customer support and respond to requests.
  • To send service, billing, and security communications.
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and technical issues.
  • To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

4. Legal Bases for Processing

We process personal data on one or more of the following bases under the Data Privacy Act: performance of a contract with you; your consent; our legitimate interests (such as securing and improving the Platform), balanced against your rights; and compliance with legal obligations.

5. How We Share Personal Data

We do not sell personal data. We share it only as needed to operate the Platform, including with:

  • Service providers — cloud hosting, database, payment processing, and email delivery providers that process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.
  • Legal and regulatory authorities — where required by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Platform, then for the period required to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations or to resolve disputes. Data processed on behalf of a Subscriber is handled per our agreement with that Subscriber.

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable and appropriate organizational, physical, and technical measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but work to protect your information and will notify affected parties and the NPC of a reportable personal data breach as required by law.

8. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to authenticate users and operate the Platform, and may use cookies to remember preferences and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect how the Platform works.

9. Your Rights

Subject to the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to be informed, to access, to object, to rectify, to erasure or blocking, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with the NPC. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. If your personal data was provided to us by a Subscriber (as an End Customer), please direct your request to that Subscriber; we will assist them as processor.

10. Children's Privacy

The Platform is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors except where a Subscriber lawfully records such data in the course of its business.

11. International Transfers

Some of our service providers may process data outside the Philippines. Where personal data is transferred across borders, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in accordance with the Data Privacy Act.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Platform or by email, and the “last updated” date above will be revised.
